New 2012 Movie Stills

The LA Times have released an array of stills from many upcoming movies and you can check all the photos out below.

The Hunger Games – Stars Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson, it is set in the future where a group of 12 boys and girls fight it out to the death on live television. I know right, sounds dreadful. I know a lot of people are huge fans of the books and say they are amazing but the storyline seems a bit thin on the ground lets be honest. The Hunger Games is set for a 23rd March (UK+USA) release. Check out the new still below.

Men In Black 3 – Yes thats right Hollywood are dishing out more sequels from supposedly dead franchises. The storyline of this one goes along the lines of Agent J (Will Smith) travels back in time to stop and alien killing his parter Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones & Josh Brolin). Men In Black 3 is set for a 25th May (UK+USA) release and I most certainly will not be checking this one out; but you can check out the image below.

Step Up 4 – Brilliant, another step up movie. this time Step Up 4 stars Ryan Guzman and Kathryn McCormick and you guessed it, it’s about dancing. Step Up 4 is hitting theatres on 27th July (USA) and 10th August (UK) and you can check out the picture below.

Premium Rush – Finally a film that actually seems half decent. This is the latest film by director David Koepp and it is starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jamie Chung and Michael Shannon. This film centres on Wilee (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) a bike messenger who picks up an envelope that a corrupt cop (Michael Shannon) takes an interest in. Premium Rush is set for a 24th August (USA) and 21st September (UK) release and I can’t wait.

The Three Stooges – I still haven’t found a single person that is looking forward to this stupid remake. It stars Sean Hayes, Will Sasso and Chris Diamantopoulos  and I can safely say this will be the worst movie of the year. You can check out The Three Stooges on 13th April (USA) and 4th May (UK) I don’t know why you would want to see it but the still is below.

I Hate You Dad/Donney’s Boy – Oh brilliant another extremely poor Adam Sandler movie is here, the story goes something like this; a father moves in with his son right before his wedding, yes thats it. I’m seriously uninterested in this and won’t be seeing but here are the release dates; 14th June (USA) and 7th September (UK). Don’t forget you can check out the image below.

This Means War – Tom Hardy and Chris Pine in one movie, yes please. This Is War is about two CIA agents that are dating the same girl so they end up waging war on each other both in an attempt to win her heart. This one looks like it could be quite a good movie, probably won’t see this one in the cinema but will definitely give it a rent when out. This Means War is out on 17th February (UK+USA)

This Is 40 – Did anyone ask for a Knocked Up spin-off? No, why are Hollywood doing one then. I actually quite like Knocked Up but it is obvious that this one is set to fail. Starring Jason Segel, Megan Fox and Paul Rudd, it is released 21st December (UK+USA) Check out the image below.

The Gangster Squad – I can’t wait for this film it is set to be a great movie; starring one of my favourite actors Ryan Gosling, Sean Penn, Emma Stone and Giovanni Ribisi. The Gangster Squad is about some LAPD’s war against keeping the gangsters out of 1940’s LA. Set for a release of 19th October (USA) and 9th November (UK) you can check out the image below.

Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: Dog Days – Does anyone care about this movie? No lets move on. Released on 3rd August (USA+UK) If you care at all about this movie you can check out the picture below.
